The 2017-18 academic year is looking to be the best yet here at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.Exciting opportunities for juniors and seniors to visit this fall! 

  • Discover is our fall preview day. We have two Discover events scheduled for students to choose from this year: Friday, October 13 or Friday, November 3. As always, attendees will be eligible to win special scholarships and we will waive the $40 application fee for attendees who apply at a Discover event. Students can RSVP now at ualr.edu/admissions/discover.
  • Personalized campus visits are available for students and their families. Visitors get to see our excellent on-campus housing and meet with an academic department of their choice. We provide these tours every weekday at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. Students can RSVP for a Trojan Tour at ualr.edu/tour.
  • We love groups! If you’d like to coordinate bringing a group of students to UA Little Rock for the day, we can provide information on how to schedule on-campus dining or suggest other things to do while in Little Rock. Being in the capital city has its perks! You can schedule a group tour at ualr.edu/tour.
  • As an addition, our new Saturday Spotlight offers an option for those students and families who have a busy schedule during the week or who don't live in the central Arkansas area: Saturday, September 23 and Saturday, November 11. This campus visit includes lunch with a recruiter, an open-house style expo, campus tour, and details on where to stay and play in Little Rock. Students can RSVP for a Saturday Spotlight at ualr.edu/tour.

What is Texan Tour?

Texan Tour is a special campus preview day designed to acquaint your students with our friendly campus. Come explore our many academic opportunities, visit with current students, and see first-hand the spirit of Tarleton.

For transfers and high school seniors this is a great opportunity to finalize the next step. For juniors, Texan Tour is an excellent way to begin the college search. During the day, students will be able to speak with faculty and representatives from academic departments, undergraduate admissions, financial aid, scholarships and residence life. They will also have the opportunity to tour our campus, residence halls and agriculture center.

Discover UT Dallas

For: High school students, transfer students and their parents.

Discover UT Dallas is hosted in the fall semester in cities across Texas. Advisors answer questions and provide details on admission, scholarships, financial aid, academic programs and campus life.

Scholars’ Day

For: High school seniors, transfer students and their parents.

High school seniors, community college students and their families are invited to visit and explore the UT Dallas campus on Scholars’ Day. Students who attend can qualify for application fee waivers for the upcoming school year.

Comet Sneak Peek

For: High school juniors, seniors and their parents.

Comet Sneak Peek introduces high school juniors, seniors and their families to UT Dallas and gives admitted seniors who haven’t visited campus an opportunity to take a sneak peek into life at UT Dallas. Guests learn about the University through admission and financial aid presentations, campus and housing tours and an opportunity to interact with current UT Dallas students.

Visit Shocker Nation at Wichita State Black and Yellow Day!

Dive into Shocker Nation during this day designed to help your students get a taste of college life. They will learn about the seven academic colleges, hear advice about their college search, speak with current WSU students, get a tour of campus, plus lunch and a Shocker t-shirt!
