Community Service Project - "No Place Like Home"

We will be providing help and support for our "adopted" school and community in Port Lavaca that have lost their homes and many personal possession to Hurricane Harvey.


Homecoming Court

We need ALL of our students to log into Voting4Schools to nominate and vote for our 2017 Homecoming Court. We will have Round 1 nominations on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 18-19, and then voting for the final court on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept 20-21. The court will be announced on Friday, Sept 22.

Homecoming King and Queen voting will be Sept 28-29 and crowned at the halftime on Sept. 29.

Homecoming Community Parade - Wednesday, Sept. 27

We encourage everyone to participate or come watch our most amazing parade. The parade will begin at 6:15 and follow the attached route from Medlin Middle School and end at Byron Nelson. BNHS residents might experience some traffic delays during the parade. Please see the attached parade route for more information.

Homecoming Community Pep Rally - Wednesday, Sept. 27

We will have food, fun and entertainment at our annual homecoming pep rally. The actual pep rally will begin at approximately 7:45 after all parade floats have made it to the BNHS football field. Food trucks and entertainment will be available before the pep rally begins.

Make sure to stay for our annual pep rally to see amazing performances by the BNHS Choir, Dazzlers, Cheer, Band, Drumline, Color Guard, and much more!

Vendors Needed
We are seeking vendors to sell their products (including food items) at our annual community homecoming pep rally hosted by BNHS Student Council. See attachment to register.

Friday Night Festivities - September 29

The football game will begin at 7:30 p.m. The homecoming court festivities will take place during half-time.

BNHS Alumni - Welcome Back!

We hope that all our BNHS alumni can join us for any and all of our festivities. We look forward to having you return home!

Homecoming Dance

Saturday, September 30, 8:00 – 11:30

The homecoming dance is one of the finest traditions we have at Byron Nelson. The semi-formal dance is held at Byron Nelson. Join us for an all-inclusive night of friends, dancing, food, drinks, photo booth and much more. Tickets are $15 in advance or $25 at the door. Students must be BNHS students or have the attached date form approved.
