Tardies vs. Absences

Tardies vs Absences

Campus practice is if a student misses 20 minutes or more of a class due to either an unexcused tardy, arriving to school late or checking out of school early, they will be marked absent for that class or classes.

If a student arrives to class within 19 minutes without an excuse, they will be marked tardy. If a student is checked out early by a parent and misses 19 minutes or less of the class, they will be considered present.

Additional questions regarding tardies may be addressed to your student's principal.
