Message From Principal Myers
Bobcat Nation!

As we look forward to the week ahead at Byron Nation, my thanks to the many students and others who were involved in last Friday’s Club Rush.  Connecting with other students to promote healthy interests is important for all of our students as they experience life at a 6A Comprehensive High School.

By now, you have read Dr. Warren’s update regarding a social media challenge on Tik-Tok that encourages students to take part in vandalism at schools.  While we have had a few instances at Byron, I ask that you read his letter and continue to talk with your student about this important topic.  We are fortunate to have a facility, paid by all of us taxpayers, that is outstanding and therefore it is up to our student body to keep our learning environment safe and one that promotes all that is good about Bobcat Nation.

This week, Officers Watkins, Officer Northcutt, other campus administrators and I will continue to meet again with students, beginning with our freshman class to help answer questions about school expectations and ways in which all of our students can contribute to helping make our campus the best.  I have no doubt that we will accomplish that goal.  We have students and families who have demonstrate that effort on a daily basis.

Please continue to reference our campus website, Facebook, Twitter and our newest student outreach called the “Student Hub”.

Best to our students and families as they prepare for a productive week ahead at Byron.

 Go Bobcats!
