NISD Rodeo Team

The Byron Nelson Rodeo Team is open to all students throughout the school year.  This team falls under the North Texas Rodeo Foundation (non profit 501c3).

You do not need a horse to rodeo.  There are several different events for both boys and girls; Bareback, Walk Up Goat Tying, Chute Doggin', Break Away, just to name a few.  There are 26 weekend rodeos throughout the school year.  You can participate in as many as you would like.  The team also volunteers throughout the district and for other organizations.

Team meetings are Monday nights at 7:00pm at Northwest HS in the Lecture Hall
