Parking Information

General Parking Application

All students are required to have a Byron Nelson High School 2026-2027 parking permit to drive and park on campus. A printed and signed parking application, printed proof of insurance, and a valid driver's license (no learners permits) must be provided when submitting the $21 payment (exact cash, check, Visa/Mastercard).

General parking permits will be available to purchase at the following times:
Monday, August 10 9:00am-12:00pm in the Front Office
Tuesday, August 11 9:00am-12:00pm in the Front Office and 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Counseling Center
Daily in the Counseling Center beginning Wednesday, August 12 from 8:00am - 8:20am, and during your student's assigned lunch period. **Please know that permits will not be available during a part of both 4th and 5th period lunches for staff to take their assigned break.**

Currently, we are not limiting general permit sales. We will continue to monitor as construction progresses, and make changes to availability if needed.

Students may not park in Visitor, Handicapped or senior reserved (painted) spaces. Parking spaces may be limited due to construction on our campus

**Vehicles that do not have a 2026-2027 permit, or students who park in prohibited spaces, will receive a parking violation sticker affixed to their vehicle and a fine. Violations are listed on the permit application.**
